Job Summary: This position is responsible for rapidly accelerating the growth of KCI Advanced Wound Care (AWC) within a defined territory. Sales activities may include activities such as Senior Customer Leadership and Materials Manager presentations, product education sessions, developing and advancing business partnerships with key decision makers and driving market share and sales growth in primarily the Acute Care space. You will own the AWC portfolio of products and will be expected to drive and deliver based on collaborative relationships with clinician, physicians, WOCNs and other key decision makers in an Acute environment. Your success will be based on formulary acceptance of KCI products, cold calls, targeting analytics, lead generation and internal partnerships with both hospital and KCI staff. This role will also work collaboratively with the AWC Account Executives, Territory Managers and Territory Sales Representative who are assigned in the territory for the Advanced Wound Therapy (AWT) sales for KCI. Attendance at local, regional and national meetings will be part of the role.
Job Responsibilities: Drive revenue through working with existing and new customers and understanding pain points, delivering both business and clinical customized solutions to key opinion leaders and clinicians, build and increase formulary footprint in covered area, develop and implement conversion strategies, build, maintain, or enhance account relationships, and establish meaningful and ongoing client relationships within primarily Acute settings that allow for KCI to present the value proposition for their product line. Establish long term peer to peer collaborative strategies that allow for cross selling across the KCI continuum of care. Function within an environment with sales growth initiatives and expectations in a quota-based environment.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience or 2 years of successful work history with KCI. Must possess a demonstrated business-to-business sales experience. Proficient with MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must demonstrate organizational and Presentation skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and be able to travel 90% of the time within the defined territory. Some overnight travel will be expected. On site partnership with assigned healthcare providers will be required.
Preferred Job Requirements: AWC product sales experience in an Acute setting. Hospital or operating room sales experience. Experience with navigating new product introductions, cross reference completion, contract success within established guidelines, and the value analysis review process. Demonstrated track record of success in hospital, pharma and/or business-to-business sales.
