GSC Customer Service Rep

Job Description

Job Summary: The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Representative provides order entry support specific to KCI products. A GSC Representative will collect and enter required data about the order in KCI systems. In addition to order entry support, responsibilities include preparing required customs documentation. A successful GSC Representative will have excellent time management skills and is able to provide high quality data entry while representing KCI’s values to a diverse audience.

Principle Responsibilities: (essential job duties and responsibilities)

  • Process domestic and international product orders following department processes
  • Prepared custom documentation associated with orders when required
  • Enter required data in accordance with department procedures
  • Handle requests for information using defined practices for accuracy and quality
  • Refer requests for service or information outside departments' responsibility appropriately
  • Escalate special customer or business partners requests and problem issues as appropriate to a supervisor or designated representative
  • Communicate with business partners through phone and email
  • Participate in overtime as needed to support department service level goals
  • Participate in training as required
  • Participate in all reasonable work activities as assigned and deemed appropriate by management

Skills and Experiences:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) year experience in a customer service order processing role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Type >25 words per minute
  • Ability to work with team members and business partners while conveying a positive service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work effectively and exercise sound business judgment when working independently
  • Experience with order entry systems
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to learn multiple systems and software programs
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts and meet all attendance and performance standard
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work shift to meet department needs

The positions essential function requires but is not limited to repetitive keyboarding over 95% of the time.
