Collections Supervisor (MCO)

Job Description

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the PFS department relating to collections
  • Train Collections Specialist, Team Lead, clerk, etc. in department and in coordination with Training Coordinator
  • Maintain & Assurance of work performed by collector and team lead
  • Monitor reporting and statistics to ensure AR trends are addressed and escalated
  • Supervise team members to monitor daily performance
  •  Assess training needs and coordinate new hire training on department processes and procedures
  • Interview, hire and recommend corrective actions of employees
  • Approves timecards and update KABA as needed
  • Enforce attendance policy/guidelines
  • Ensure communication regarding payer regulations and departmental communications are clearly understood
  • Prepare annual performance evaluations and make recommendations for salary increases and position changes
  • Refer complex clinical, product or patient questions to the manager
  • Monitor department performance on key performance indicators and communicates progress to management
  • Propose solutions to opportunities between teams to ensure team effectiveness
  • Interact with other teams within KCI to ensure facilitation of process and problem solving is facilitated
  • Review bulletins and relay pertinent information to team members
  • Conform to, support and enforce all Company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience performing statistical analysis to monitor financial results
  • Experience monitoring Account Receivable trends
  • Experience preparing annual performance evaluations
  • ·Experience with Business Objects reporting
  • Demonstrated accounting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to Travel as needed and/or requested by internal and external customers
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
  • HS Diploma (college degree preferred)
